- TO APPLY MK 5-EXTRA POWDER YOU WILL NEED:
- 1. MK 5-Extra Powder
- 2. Floor Buffer (175-350 RPM) equipped with a water tank and splash guard.
- 3. One natural hair pad and white buffing pad.
- 4. Wet vacuum, mop, bucket wringer and floor squeegee.
- DIRECTIONS:
- Note: If the stone surface has wax or sealer to be removed or neutralized, use MK Strip Klean to effectively strip wax or sealer from the stone surface prior to use.
- 1. Cover baseboard, carpet etc…with protective plastic and/or tape.
- 2. Wet stone surface. Sprinkle MK 5-Extra Powder on the floor (5oz. / 25 sq. ft.) over
- an area no larger than 25 sq. ft. at a time.
- 3. The MK 5-Extra Powder water mixture should make a slurry. Buff this mixture with
- a natural hair pad for about 10 minutes per 25 sq. ft.
- 4. Check level of gloss with a squeegee. When the level of gloss is achieved, squeegee the
- MK 5-Extra Powder mixture to the adjacent area and repeat process.
- 5. Vacuum the MK 5-Extra Powder mixture. Wet the polished area again and buff with
- the same pad without adding more MK 5-Extra Powder.
- 6. Vacuum dry, damp mop with MK Neutral Klean, and let dry.
- 7. Buff polished area with a dry white pad.
- COVERAGE: Up to 150 sq. ft. per lb.
- DO NOT LET THE COMPOUND DRY IN THE GROUT JOINTS, AS IT MAY DISCOLOR THE JOINTS.
