MK HOLE REPAIR KIT™ For filling holes and cracks in natural stone; white, beige and brown in color. Contents: - 1 Can white filling
- 1 Container hardener
- 1 Container brown coloring tint (extremely concentrated)
- 25 Long stirring sticks
- 25 Short stirring sticks (for adding hardener to colored filler)
- 25 Flat tooth picks (for adding coloring tin to white filler)
- 25 3 ounce mixing cups
- 25 Straight edge razors (for smoothing filler over holes or cracks)
- Steel wool (for buffing area after hardened)
- 1 Pair rubber gloves
Directions for hole and crack repair: Step 1: Open can of white filler with a straight screwdriver, being careful not to damage edge of the can. Step 2: Place enough white filler from the can into a mixing cup using a large stirring stick to make a small batch torepair small areas at a time Replace the lid on the can. Step 3: Creating color for stone other than white: Open container of coloring tint. Dip the flat toothpick into the tint, and add small amounts of tint to the white filler until desired color is achieved. (Be very careful, as the smallestamount of color will quickly change white filler to color.) Step 4: Open hardener container. Using a short stirring stick, stir hardener mixture and blend thoroughly. Place a very small amount of hardener on the tip of the stick and add to the cup of filler. (Ratio of products should be approximately I part hardener into 30 parts filler.) Using the long stirring stick mix the filler well for approximately 1 minute. This activates the hardener. Step 5: Remove filler from cup with long stirring stick and fill hole or crack. Use a straight edge razor to smooth filler and remove excess filler from hole and surrounding area. NOTE: You must work fast as the product will begin to harden within 3 minutes once activated. Allow area to completely harden for at least 30 minutes before beginning Step 6. Step 6: Be sure filler is completely hardened before beginning Step 6. There may be a little residue around the repaired area. Take a small piece of steel wool and lightly rub off excess residue around filled area. (Caution: Do not rub directly on filled patch as discoloration may occur.) NOTE: Dispose of unused mixture. Do not reuse or return to the original containers. WARNING: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. In case of contact, flush thoroughly with water andimmediately call a physician. Do not swallow. Keep out of reach of children.
