MK TILE GLEAMâ„¢

MK Tile Gleamâ„¢ is a natural non-wax compound for the polishing, protection, and restoration of most Ceramic, Porcelain, and Quarry Tiles. MK Tile Gleamâ„¢ gives a long lasting shine, protects and provides a slip resistant finish to ceramic tiles. It does not yellow. Regular use of MK Tile Gleamâ„¢ eliminates the need for waxing and stripping.

TO APPLY MK TILE GLEAMâ„¢ YOU NEED:

  1. MK Tile Gleamâ„¢.
  2. Floor Buffer (175-350 RPM). Water tank and splash guard are optional. Note: Heavier buffer will give you a quicker and better polish.
  3. One natural hair pad, one white buffing pad.
  4. Wet vacuum, clean mop, bucket wringer, and floor squeegee.

DIRECTIONS:

Note: If tile and baseboards have wax or sealer to be removed, use MK Strip Kleanâ„¢ to effectively strip wax or sealer from the tile surface prior to use of MK Tile Gleamâ„¢. If the floor is very dirty or old, you should thoroughly clean and hone the tile with MK Tile Kleanâ„¢.

  1. 1. Cover baseboards, carpet, etc. with protective plastic and/or tape.
  2. If grout is very dirty, scrub the grout and tile with MK Tile & Grout Kleanâ„¢ using a scrub brush. Wet vacuum and rinse.
  3. Wet a 25 sq. ft. area of the tile. Sprinkle approx 5oz. of MK Tile Gleamâ„¢ on the wet area.
  4. Buff the MK Tile Gleamâ„¢ slurry with a natural hair pad for about 20 minutes per 25 sq. ft. area.
  5. Check the level of gloss with the squeegee. When the desired level of gloss is achieved, squeegee the MK Tile Gleamâ„¢ slurry to an adjacent area and repeat the process. Add MK Tile Gleamâ„¢ and water as needed.
  6. Vacuum dry the MK Tile Gleamâ„¢ mixture. Wet the polished area again and buff with the same pad without adding more MK Tile Gleamâ„¢ to reduce residue.
  7. Vacuum dry thoroughly, then damp mop with MK Neutral Kleanâ„¢ and let dry.
  8. Buff polished area with a dry white pad.
  9. Seal grout joints with MK Penetrating Sealerâ„¢ for water and stain protection.

CAUTION: The use of gloves and protective clothing is recommended when using MK Tile Gleamâ„¢.

COVERAGE: Up to 150 sq. ft. per lb.
