Technical Specs:
- TO APPLY MK TILE KLEAN™ YOU WILL NEED:
- 1. MK Tile Klean™.
- 2. Floor Buffer (175-350 RPM). Water tank and splash guard are optional.
- Note: Heavier buffer will give you a quicker and better polish.
- Optimum weight 135 lbs.
- 3. One natural hair pad, one white buffing pad.
- 4. Wet vacuum, clean mop, bucket wringer, and floor squeegee.
Directions:
NOTE: If tiles and baseboards should have wax to be removed use MK Strip Klean™ to effectively strip wax or sealer from tile surface prior to use of MK Tile Klean™. For very old or dirty floors, scrub the floor and grout with MK Tile and Grout Klean™ using a scrub brush. (See instructions on product container)
- Cover the baseboards, carpet, etc.with protective plastic and/or tape.
- Wet a 25 sq. ft. area of the tile. Sprinkle (5oz. / 25 sq. ft.) of the MK Tile Klean™ on wet area.
- Buff the MK Tile Klean™ slurry with a natural hair pad for about 10 minutes per 25 sq. ft. area.
- Squeegee the MK Tile Klean™ slurry to the adjacent area and repeat the process. Use MK Tile Klean™ and water as needed
- Vacuum dry the MK Tile Klean™ mixture. Wet the honed area again and buff with the same pad without adding more MK Tile Klean™.
- For very dirty grout joints, scrub the grout and tile with MK Tile & Grout Klean™ solution and a scrub brush to clean the grout and remove the excess residue at the same time.
- Buff dry with a white pad to remove any leftover residue. If needed, polish the tile with MK Tile Gleam™. (See instructions on product container.)
CAUTION: The use of gloves & protective clothing is recommended when using MK Tile & Grout Klean™.
